Brimbank City Council – Light Up St Albans – Winter Edition Night Market

Event: Saturday 25 June 2022

The cold couldn’t stop us from having fun! We were delighted to deliver another event for Brimbank City Council to bring some fun into the St Albans Town Centre. On this night, with over 3000 in attendance, our community got to explore digital art lighting installations, shop at a winter night market, indulge in live music & entertainment! We must not forget one of the most popular attractions, the silent disco! Boogying was had by everyone in the family.

This was an event that warmed up our souls, on a cold Melbourne winter night.

As a part of our work on behalf of Brimbank City Council, we were excited to organise an activation to honour reconciliation week, the first of its kind in the St Albans Town Centre. Uncle Johnny, Aboriginal elder graced us with his Yidiki playing in the town centre, helping the community start the conversation of what it means to pay respects to our Aboriginal elders. Femdala commits to organising Indigenous activations with respect and in collaboration with community.
