Continuing with the post-lockdown community events and activations rollout in the St Albans Town Centre, Femdala and Brimbank City Council put together some weekend street entertainment for the kids.

SASH Entertainment helped us out for the day by providing us with Entertainers that roamed around the Town Centre, also offering fun pick-me-ups such as balloon animals and face painting. This indeed helped gain a lot of smiles on the young ones’ faces.

As part of our work for Brimbank City Council to roll out more community events and activations within St Albans, involved a live music event on a cool Thursday evening.

The live music was set up in a local council reserve area on the Main Street. Passers-by of the area could come gather and enjoy the works of a live band and vocalists in the open air. What a good way to the spend the sunset.

Event: Saturday 13 March 2021​

Femdala was appointed by Brimbank City Council to roll out an activation program which included a number of events in the St Albans Town Centre after Melbourne’s COVID lockdowns in 2020. The objective of the activation program was to welcome the local community back into the Town Centre by delivering events in a COVID safe environment.

Together we identified performers that would roam the Town Centre and create a vibrant atmosphere. Identifying appropriate performances varied based on a number of factors including the time of the day and the desired target market. 

This Saturday night activation included superheroes wandering between the local restaurants, entertaining those that were dining. You were able to have dinner and a show!

Event Managers can spend hundreds of hours planning one event. Over Gem’s 15 year’s in the events industry, she has rolled out over 600 events – that’s a lot of hours, nights, weekend’s spent on making an event special. But you know what? Event Managers do it because they LOVE all things events. So as you could imagine, event managers are even more excited when we get to plan an event for a special person in our lives, in this case Gem’s mum. This event was super stylish cocktail event, located in such a stunning venue (ask us all about it). This event was the best to plan!

Here’s a snap of a brilliant afterhours networking event (if we do say so ourselves) at the National Gallery of Victoria, which included a private viewing of the gallery and yummy food and drinks. Business development comes in all shapes and sizes.
